Beautiful Tahoe

We returned back from Lake Tahoe Dec 18, after 5 days away from the kids(by the way everyone's kids were sick while we were away, go figure! - THANK YOU GRANDPARENTS!!) and it was so good to get home! We actually were able to catch an earlier flight out of Dallas before the weather got too bad and made it home with much turbulance and many angels helping us out. We had such a great time, for the 2nd year in a row(maybe this will become a tradition?) We were with good friends Jeff and Jennifer, Jessica(Jennifer's twin sister) and Kristin, all who grew up with my husband. We missed Jessica's and Kristin's husbands, but were thankful they went along! We did many fun things.....ice skating, bowling, snow skiing, swimming outside in the 10degree weather, hot tubs, saunas, shopping, eating out.....you name it - it was a great break from parenting :) I guess the only thing we missed out on was a good massage......

I just sat up on the mountain top in awe of God's beauty and how in the world He created such an amazing scape to see........and then I wondered why we decided to reside in foristell, MO? ha.
